Vitola: 5 1/2 x 54 belicoso
Wrapper: Brazilian Mata Fina
On lighting I was hit with a burst of sweetness. This subsided into a rich mix of cocoa, cedar, possibly nutmeg rolling in and out through the duration over a base of loamy richness with the sweetness reappearing several times. The woody notes became more prominent toward the finish. I don’t always know if I like a cigar on the first try. I have to say I really liked this; it was rich, smooth and beautifully complex, as well as very nicely constructed.
They are limited in availability right now, but this cigar is on my short list to acquire more. Why? Because it’s different and really satisfying. Recommended for the experienced smoker wanting a sophisticated stick made by a different producer.
